HOW TO CONSIGN YOUR HORSE(S)
Make check payable to: Colors Consignment Sales,
LLC
Mail the
completed Consignment Contract, with payment, along with a copy of their
registration papers (if appropriate), a footnote (not over 70 words),
and a photograph for the internet catalog to Colors Consignment Sales,
LLC, P.O. Box 687, Dewey, AZ 86327.
Photos may also
be sent via email to info@horsebreakers.com
They must be
sent in a JPG format and please put in the subject line, Photo-(Horses
Registered Name),do not use a barn name.
All entries
received that are complete with
paperwork and payment will be accepted on a first-received,
first-served basis. Catalog
entry fees are non-refundable.
Substitutions are allowed with a
veterinarian certificate.
ARRIVAL
You are welcome to arrive at Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre on
Sunday, October 16th. If you need to arrive prior to that
date, please call them for arrangements at 480-358-3701.
CHECK IN
Horses paperwork must be checked in at the Sales Office as soon as
possible after arrival. No horse will be allowed to enter the sale ring
unless the consignor of that horse has checked in and that horse has
been cleared for all the necessary paperwork. Upon check in you will be
given one set of hip numbers per horse. For security reasons, once the
hip numbers are put on your horse, please do not remove them even after
the horse sells.
HEALTH REQUIRMENTS
At the time of Consignor check in, all horses must have a current
negative Equine Infectious Anemia (Coggins test) dated within 180 days
(6 months) of the sale and a health certificate dated within 30 days (1
month) of the sale. Please use registered name, not the barn
name. All horses descended from the stallion IMPRESSIVE must
have a HYPP (Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis) test and the
results must be disclosed.
THE DRAW
The catalog order (Hip numbers) will be drawn randomly by computer, and
the catalog order will also be the sale order.
PAYMENT
Checks will be issued within 2 weeks after the sale for horses sold,
unless we do not have all of the appropriate paperwork (transfers, HYPP
test results and breeding certificates).
VIDEOS
The use of videos is highly recommended. They must be DVD or VHS
formatted and not over 3-4 minutes. They will be shown at ringside
while your horse is in the sale ring. Please bring them with you when
you check your horse in at the Sales Office and be sure to put your
horse’s name and hip number on them. If you upload your video to YOUTUBE
and email us the link, we can put it on the internet catalog.
STALLING
Stalls will be pre-assigned. If you have more than one horse, all of
them will be stalled together.
FEED/WATER
Each consignor will be responsible for the care of their sale entry
until horse is sold. You must bring all your own feed and water
bucket(s).

NO RV HOOKUPS ON SITE
HPEP offers dry camping at a fee of $10 per night. All horses must be
stalled, trailer tying and portable pens are not allowed.
